WASP will be holding a series of Zoom Forum discussions starting on Wednesday on 29th July 2020 from 7.30pm – 9.30pm.
In association with The Windrush Association, these forums will provide first-hand accounts of servicemen and women who have served “The Motherland” and are now fighting for recognition, including the right for them and their families to remain in Britain. Interviews will be carried out with key figures within the community.
After popular demand and public concerns of the plight of servicemen and women, especially in relation to Windrush and #BlackLivesMatter issues, the online events using Zoom video conferencing will provide the community with the opportunity to meet and discuss these topics further.

Life in the British Army. Hear from veterans about coming under fire, returning fire, and then no right to stay in Britain after serving and contributing to Britain’s history.
The Panelists:
- Allan Wilmot, a WWII veteran
- Colonel Larry Davis, currently one of the highest serving black British Army Officers
- Vincent McBean, Chairman of WASP
- Neil Flannigan MBE
- Major Dionne Konstantinious, Officer Commanding 7th Company
